Natural Sweet
Sugar level is controlled seeking the best balance between sweetness and alcohol. Once that level is reached the yeasts are eliminated using a centrifugal system, managing to naturally stop the fermentation, leaving the wine with a high level of residual sugar and low alcohol.
MUSCAT | TORRONTES BLEND
Pale yellow colour with steely reflections. Super aromatic with notes of orange blossom, rue and tropical fruits such as mango, pineapple and peach that stand out and mingle with citrus notes of zesty lime, tangerine and a touch of honey.
On the palate its unmistakable sweetness is well balanced with just the right acidity for a great finish.

The main characteristics of these wines is that they are fruit forward with soft tannins and easy to drink.
MALBEC
Deep red colour. Aromas full of fruit with hints of violets mingle with flavours of ripened plum and cherries accompanying this wine's characteristically smooth and sweet tannins. This unique Malbec is well-balanced across the palate with a long and persistent finish.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Intense and complex aromas have hints of cherry, blackberry and a touch of ripened green pepper. A reddish-purple colour stands out in the glass. Full-bodied on the palate, with well integrated acidity and a nice tannic structure that provides a long and lasting finish.

SYRAH
This wine has an intense red colour with bright violet tones as well as a complex bouquet of fresh and sour cherry aromas. The fresh fruits of this well-balanced wine also come through on the palate and blend with proper acidity to ensure a long, persistent finish.

TORRONTES
Powerful honeysuckle and other floral aromas are characteristic of this unique wine. It has an elegant pale yellow colour with hints of green, while on the palate crisp acidity provides a cleanliness and platform for the citrus flavours. Finishes clean and refreshing, with more floral hints.

Only the best fruit goes into La Puerta Alta, our estate grown and bottled wines. The grapes are hand-picked from drip irrigated vines which are hand pruned and canopy-managed for optimum flavour ripeness.
MALBEC
Dark ruby red in colour, this wine shows ripe fruit characteristics of plum, blackberry and mulberry with hints of mocha and vanillin oak. The palate is silky smooth with juicy berry fruit balanced with soft and rounded tannins for an elegant long finish.

This wine has an intense dark red colour with purple hues and aromas of red forest berries with a touch of violets. Soft and velvety on the palate with a subtle character. Complexity of aromas and taste derive from blending these very expressive varietals.

The wine has a rich deep red colour, whilst the nose shows vibrant plum with flower nuances. There is an abundance of juicy fruit on the palate with perfectly integrated oak and fine tannins with each element impeccably balanced.

TORRONTES
Strikingly aromatic! Bright green-gold colour showing vibrant floral aromas of jasmine and honeysuckle, and crisp citrus notes on the palate. Its great balance makes this elegant wine an incredible match when paired with spicy foods, particularly those from South-East Asia.

Reserva Line
Our reserva wines are produced from carefully selected hand-picked grapes. After de-stemming and crushing, fermentation begins in a traditional manner with periodical pump-overs to ensure maximum extraction. Temperature is controlled at 24ºC to guarantee the wine’s fruity character.

Brilliant intense red colour with violet highlights. Aromas full of red fruits with hints of smoke reflect its aging with oak. Complex on the palate, well structured and full bodied with a lengthy finish. Its rounded tannins show their presence and give it a unique character.

True to our winemaking philosophy, the Gran Reserva is a small-lot production of the highest quality, produced only in the best vintages. 100% of the wine is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels. After bottling the wine is laid down to mature
for another 12 months.
